If you’re a college student that wants to start building muscle, you’ve probably heard of Steve Cook’s Big man on Campus 12-Week College Trainer.
If not, go here first and check out the cheat sheet that I made for this massive program.
For a little background, the Steve Cook Big Man on Campus program is one of the most popular, all-inclusive diet and training programs on the internet targeted at college students.
And on the surface, it seems pretty great… but, this program isn’t all sunshine and ponies.
In fact, a lot of what is recommended in this program is based on some broscience that doesn’t have a lot of evidence to support.
(Just some old-school thinking, I guess.)
Anyway, I went through the whole program (again) and I decided to share exactly what I think about the entire thing in this big man on campus review.
And it may not be as effective as you think…
The Big Man on Campus program is a massive resource for college students.
It’s broken down into different sections on:
- Nutrition
- Big man on campus supplements
- Training
- Lifestyle
- Goals
- Time management
…and each of those sections has a polished video hosted by Steve Cook, walking you through the steps to master muscle-building.
I spent days going through all the material and compiled this downloadable cheat sheet to help you get the most important details of the course.
Now, despite having taken the time to create a cheat sheet for the program, it might surprise you to know that I actually DON’T agree with a lot of things in the program.
Say what?!
While I do commend Bodybuilding.com and Steve Cook for hosting this massive resource on building muscle, not everything in the course fits well into the life of a student.
I mean, I’m not claiming it won’t work because it’s obvious that you’ll build muscle, but there are other programs that could get similar big man on campus results with less stress on your schedule.
These are a few thoughts I had right off the bat…
- The exercise selection could be a problem in a busy, public gym.
- Some of the nutrition requirements are simply out-dated without any evidence to support them.
- Bodybuilding.com has an ulterior motive in their supplement section you gotta watch out for.
- Among other things…
Anyway, if you want to hear my full big man on campus workout review, make sure you watch the video.
